ONE WAY SLAB:-
1. One way slab are supported by the beam on the two opposite sides only.
2. In one way slab main reinforcement is provide in only one direction.
3. The load are carried along one direction in one way slab.
4. The ratio of longer span(L) to shorter span(B) are equal or greater than 2.
i.e. L/B ⫺ 2

TWO WAY SLAB:-
1. Two way slab are supported by beams on all four sides.
2. In two way slab the main reinforcement is provided along both direction.
3. The loads are carried along both the direction in two way slab.
4. The ratio of longer span(L) to shorter span(B) is less than 2.
i.e. L/B < 2
