HOW TO CALCULATE QUANTITY OF CEMENT SAND IN PLASTER |
Before Starting Calculation of Quantity of Cement, Sand in Plaster Some Assumption to be made:-
1. Assume Size Of Wall on Which Plaster Applied :- 10 Mtr. X 5 Mtr.
2. Assume Thickness of Plaster To be Applied :- 12 mm (It May Be 15mm)
3. Assume Ratio of Proportion :- 1:6
- HOW TO CALCULATE WEIGHT OF STEEL BARS (EXPLANATION OF D²/162)
- WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PLASTERING AND POINTING
CALCULATION :-
1. Area on Which Plaster Applied = 10 X 5 = 50 Sqmt.
2. Thickness of Plaster = 12 mm = .012 Mtr.
3. Volume of Cement Mortar Required = Area of Wall X Thickness of Plaster
= 50 X 0.012
= 0.6 Cum
( This is Volume of Wet Mortar. Than we Assume Bulking Of Sand = 34% And Wastage of Material 20%. Many of People Use 1.54 As a Constant. This Constant Use for Bulking of Sand & Wastage of Material)
Than Volume of Dry Mix = 1.54 X 0.6
= 0.924 Cum.
Cement : Sand (Ratio) = 1 : 6
Than Quantity of Cement = 0.924 X (1/7) (i.e. Total Part = 6+1 = 7 & Part of Cement = 1)
= 0.132 Cum.
No. of Bags of Cement = 0.132/ 0.0347 = 3.80 Bags
(i.e. volume of one bag of cement = 0.0347 cum.)
Than Quantity of Sand = 0.924 X (6/7) (i.e. Total Part = 6+1 = 7 & Part of Sand = 6)
= 0.792 Cum.
