NUMBER OF BRICKS IN A WALL
HOW TO CALCULATE NUMBER OF BRICKS IN A WALL

In this article we calculate the no. of brick in a wall. we know that after starting construction we require to know the quantity of material. so we calculate here.....

Require Data :-    1. Length of wall
                                       2. Width of wall
                                       3. height of all
we know that,
        The standard size of brick (without mortar) :- 190mm x 90mm x 90mm
         The size of brick with mortar :-   200mm x 100mm x 100mm

Procedure :-
1. volume of wall :-
assume length of wall = 5 meter
width of wall = 300 mm
height of wall = 1 meter
volume of wall :- LxBxH
                          = 5000 x 300 x 1000

                          = 150 x 10⁷ mm³
2. volume of one brick :-
                = LxBxH
                       = 200 x 100 x 100
                       = 20 x 10⁵mm³
3. Total no. of bricks :-
= (volume of wall) / (volume of one brick)
                             = (150 x 10⁷) / (20 x 10⁵)
                             = 750 no.
